The Cat Came Back video that I mentioned is actually up on the National Film Board of Canada's web site now. Check it out here.
I've also seen this video for 'Blackfly' before, and have always thought it'd make a good campfire tune.

I happened to go see The Good Shepherd a few weeks back (a drama centered around the founding of the CIA, among other things) and what pops up more than once in the film?
The Whiffenpoof Song, which just happens to be the song that the tune for theCachalot Hymn was, er, borrowed from.
Wasn't a bad movie, either.
