Once again, the Narragansett Council is graciously opening Camp Cachalot to the members of the Alumni Association and their families for a family camping weekend, Labor Day weekend, September 2-5, 2005. Arrival should be after 5pm on Friday, September 2nd, with departure by 11am, Monday, September 5th. All of the usual Camp rules & regulations will be in effect, so campers should be prepared to act in accordance with the Scout Oath and Law. Tent camping only, as Cachalot is neither equipped nor licensed for trailers or campers.

While there is no fee for the weekend, we will be doing some service projects over the course of the weekend, re-staining some of the buildings in Camp, and we welcome volunteers! If you can, bringing along some painting equipment (rags, paint brushes, and the like) would also be helpful.

Please let him know how many will be coming, how many of those will be helping with the project, and what days you plan on attending. You can also contact Tom with any questions.
