There was apparently a fire last night at the Friendly's restaurant on Cranberry Highway in Wareham, one of the frequent "Staff Night Out" spots during the '80s. Trips to Friendly's also happened quite often on the Neemat Lodge work weekends when we were redoing the Council Ring from '83-'85:

It's not clear if the restaurant is open or if the fire will keep it closed for some span of time.
We were occasionally a little cruel to the staff here. I can distinctly remember leaving a $20 tip (which was probably close to 50% of the bill, mind you), but leaving it entirely in small change, under an inverted "Jim Dandy" glass filled with water. _________________ Dennis
