We're looking for some suggestions for names for the Alumni Association newsletter!
Names should be short, and should be connected somehow to Camp Cachalot, Moby Dick Council, or any of their predecessors. Feel free to explain your suggestions as much as you like. If you don't have a suggestion, feel free to post your feedback on the suggestions that get made (and be nice about it!)
The first name we're come up with is "The Cachaletter", which should be pretty self-explanatory. Once we've got a few good suggestions, be on the lookout for a poll to give some feedback to the Publications committee! _________________ Your friendly neighborhood site administrator |

Well, since I'm on a roll of posting this evening... I don't think it's quite the right name for the overall, but for an "I remember when..." type of column, how about "The Whale's Tales" (a little obvious, but I think it works).
My brain is still running, but unfortunately so far, I can't beat Cachaletter. I actually think it works pretty well. _________________ May the Spirit of Scouting rest with us,

Jeff, I was actually thinking the exact same thing, lol it must be that troop 15 in me. But honestly, i really like the cachaletter, we can always segment off columns with added names later.
still in the thinking process----Chris _________________ Scouting is a way of life. Live It, Learn It, Love It, Teach It! Eagle isn't given, it's earned. Physeter is the genus of the sperm whale. Play with that one.

Physeter macrocephalus, right?
You might be a dork, but at least you're supposed to know this stuff. What's my excuse? _________________ Dennis

OK, let's brainstorm....
-Chronicles of Cachalot
-Cachalot Chat
-Moby's Memories
-The Ship's Journal
Although, I must admit that I like the Cachaletter best.

Just to let everyone know how this turned out, we decided to stick with The Cachaletter as a name, since we needed to get an issue out. In fact, the first issue was handed off to be printed and mailed earlier in the week, and should be arriving in people's mailboxes very soon now.
If you just can't wait for a printed copy, click on that Cachaletter link at the top of the page... _________________ Dennis
