I wish I had thought of posting this sooner...

If anyone has a troop or pack (or any other organization for that matter) looking for a 4th of July parade to participate in, there's always plenty of room in the Freetown parade. It's held the morning of the 4th on the Assonet side of town, which might make it most convenient for units in greater Fall River.

Last year's first-place entry was a float by troops from Assonet, East Freetown, and Lakeville/Myricks, and the pack from East Freetown, all working together.
